This year's event benefits Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance. Candlelighters is a local 501(c)(3) organization that provides emotional, educational, and practical support to children with cancer and their families. In addition, Candlelighters desires to promote childhood cancer awareness, and the need for childhood cancer education and research in the Houston community. Love Street puts on events like Come Together because it believes in causes like the one that Candlelighters serves. Love Street has no paid staff and is run entirely by volunteers. Love Street is not compensated in any way for staging Come Together. The entire net proceeds from ticket and table sales will go to Candlelighters.
